You can then add files to your Git repository from the Android Studio project. The new workspace will be in your working directory, and all source files are now in the workspace under your project name. Next, open the project in Android Studio. To clone an existing repository, you can specify a different name for the new repository folder. Make sure you have administrative privileges on your computer, because GitHub requires administrator privileges to use. To begin cloning, download the latest version of Android Studio. You’ll be prompted to enter the project’s name, path, and permissions. ![]() Finally, click Clone to start cloning the project. Next, check the version of your project to make sure it matches the latest Git version. Go to Settings > Version Control and then select Git.
